Markus Luber is a Missiologist and Jesuit. Since 2009 he works at the Institut für Weltkirche und Mission and is its Deputy Director.

Gregor Buß is a Missiologist and social ethics philosopher. From September 2010 he will work at the Institut für Weltkirche und Mission, where he will iterate the research area of 'Health and social services'. Currently he examines the consequences of HIV and AIDS for the Catholic Church's conduct in Africa.

Agnes Engel studied Theology and Psychology. Since October 2011 she works at the IWM as an empirical social researcher for the project "Local church - expression of the global church".
Tobias Keßler is a Missiologist and migration researcher. He is a member of the Scalabrini Congregation. Since 2009 he works at the Institut für Weltkirche und Mission contributing with a special interest in 'Migration/global church in Germany'.

Simon Neubert studied Theology. From September 2010 he will be with the Institut für Weltkirche und Mission. He will be conducting the research interest 'Mission and education'.

Jorge Gallegos Sánchez is a Missiologist with a research interest in the history of mission. He was born in Mexico and will work with the Institut für Weltkirche und Mission form September 2010.
Raquel Marx Auza studied Politology and History. Since 2010 she organizes the reception office of the Institut für Weltkirche und Mission.
