Besides preaching the Gospel mission of the Church does actually also imply working in the areas of health, development cooperation and local politics. To Christians every one of these areas has a unique significance and logic.

That is why the Institut für Weltkirche und Mission (IWM) is actively working towards a broader theological and pastoral understanding of the challenges posed by poverty, diseases and unjust social realities.
