The Institut für Weltkirche und Mission (IWM) takes its academic work to be a contribution to the Church's obligation to mission.

It offers its theological competence by way of talks and conferences. Also researchers who want to delve into questions about mission theology are invited to use the academic infrastructure of the IWM.

A special offer towards organizations of the Church, dioceses and social aid institutions is the evaluation and supervision of structural development in these organizations. They are carried out by specially trained IWM staff. In this service we combine theological knowledge with practical expertise in the development of organizational structures.
